hal-our-pal and other updates...

I apologize for the lack of posts lately.
Summer is an extremely busy photography season and even though I'm on "maternity leave" still from photography, I have sessions to finish editing, and had some scheduled with friends and family that have kept me busy! Don't get me wrong- I love it! Just haven't had much time to do a lot with personal photos. So there's my explanation- take it or leave it.

Contrary to what my blog depicts, we have been very busy! In Hallie's first 4 weeks of life, we'd been to 3 weddings (2 being in Wisconsin...ehh ehhm). Yes. We did travel with a 6 day old to Wisconsin... all went well, ... except for the night in the hotel. We won't talk about it. I'm just glad we didn't get kicked out ;)

We've had weddings, Tyler's 10 year high school reunion, friends visiting from out of state, and also visiting friends from out of state, moving my parents out of their house they've lived in for 15 years, Church Baby Shower, Hallie's baptism, 1st Fathers Day, 1st Fourth of July, and so much more!
----------------------------------------------------------------

I took this picture of Hallie today.
She's growing like a weed. at 1.5 months old, she coos when you talk to her, like she has something to say back but can't quite get out the words. She's trying really hard though. She'd much rather be sitting or standing as opposed to lying down. She holds her head up with no problems (the day she was born she was already beginning this). She loves to be outside, and LOVES her daddy... in fact, the more she changes, the more I think she looks like him. Some others have said that too. We'll see- we're not totally sure. She might just look like...Hallie! :)

She sleeps through the night, greets you with a smile, eats, and goes back to sleep for a couple of hours. She's a champ and an overall happy baby. We are having a ton of fun with her and can't wait for each new day with her! We're so blessed to be your parents little Hallie Ru!
